May 19, 2023: Evans County Charter School System would like to remind students, staff, parents, families, and our community about our upcoming network transition.
The network changeover is scheduled to take place from May 30th-June 2nd. As the district works diligently to upgrade our infrastructure, ECCSS anticipates times when there may be occasional interruptions to internet and phone service during this transitional period. This may affect our ability to receive and respond to calls and emails promptly.
Mr. Ron Myers, ECCSS Director of Technology, stated, “We planned this transition during a time when we don’t have students in the building, between the end of the regular school year and the start of summer school. We’ve arranged for school staff working during this time to use cellular devices and wifi hotspots to continue phone and internet services. While we’ve put these supports in place, we do want our stakeholders to be aware that there may be some interruptions in service during this time.”
In the event of limited internet and phone service, ECCSS requests your patience and understanding and apologizes for any inconvenience this transition may cause. We are confident that the improvements being implemented will ultimately result in an enhanced technology infrastructure that will benefit the entire school community.
