September 25, 2023: The Evans County Charter School System (ECCSS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mark Stroud, Principal of The Academy, to serve as a board member for the Georgia Association for Alternative Education (GAAE). This appointment reaffirms ECCSS’s commitment to college, career, and community-ready students, and it recognizes Mr. Stroud’s dedication to education and his exceptional leadership within the alternative education community.
The GAAE is an organization dedicated to promoting excellence and collaboration within Georgia's alternative education schools. As a member of the GAAE Board, Mr. Stroud will collaborate with other members appointed from across Georgia. Mr. Stroud’s appointment reflects the GAAE's recognition of his commitment to providing alternative education options that empower students to succeed.
