Evans County Schools

The Evans County Board of Education will hold two public budget hearings, one on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 10AM and the other on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 5:30 PM both located at the Evans County Board of Education Office at 705 West Main Street Claxton, Georgia. The purpose of the meetings is to receive public input on the proposed annual operating budget for FY 2026. The Budget Hearings are held in accordance with O.C.G.A. 20-2-167.1  The budget will be considered for final adoption by the Evans County Board of Education on October 6, 2025, at 6:00 PM.  The meeting will be held at Evans County Board of Education located at 705 West Main Street Claxton, GA 30417.
