Six ECSS students were recognized on Tuesday, October 26th, for their performance in last year's Young Georgia Authors (YGA) Writing Competition. Winners and top finishers were invited to the Liberty County Performing Arts Center and were treated to an awards ceremony and refreshments. FDRESA hosted the event in order to celebrate these young writers. Congrats to all of our ECSS Young Georgia Author top finishers!

Mrs. Whitfield and Mrs. Morris' class has been learning about shapes in WIN. Today they got to vote on shapes for their jack-o-lanterns face and then got to help get out the seeds! Students also used sensory words to discuss how the seeds and pulp felt to their hands.

Whew! Cupcake Wars are raging in Culinary Arts! The judges are going to have a hard time deciding the victors in this battle.

The CTAE department provided students a framework for meeting people. These steps were discussed, modeled, and practiced. AND the practice will continue throughout the year as we strive to give our kids an edge in the workplace.
