Ms. Hendrix and Mr. Allen’s class have been busy learning all about Fall! 🌟 Students explored what we wear, activities we do, and what we see outside during the season.
They even went on a 🍃 leaf hunt, then worked in groups to compare their leaves—talking about shapes, colors, and sizes, and counting them all together! 🔢✨
It was the perfect fall day to explore and learn! 🍎🌻

Kamryn is a proud Claxton High School / The DEN student participating in the Work Based Learning (WBL) program. 🐯✨ She chose healthcare as her pathway but is currently gaining valuable real-world experience at the Claxton-Evans Chamber of Commerce.
Her responsibilities include customer service, office duties, and assisting with special events—skills that will benefit her in any future career. 📋🤝✨

Cake balls, goat cheese, and punch were on the menu today during The DEN's book club meeting! All of these items connected in some way to this month's book choice, Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins. As students enjoyed these refreshments, discussion about the story and our own world ensued.
The next meeting is Tuesday, October 7, at 9:15 AM. At this time, Part III, the final section of the book, will be covered. In addition, the October selection will be revealed. All high school students are welcome to join this group!
