🎨✨Reading and Creativity on Full Display at the CMS Annual Literacy and Art Show! ✨🎨 On April 15th, CMS proudly hosted its Annual Literacy and Art Show, showcasing the incredible talent and hard work of our students and providing free books to our families! As families entered, they were allowed to pick new books to be read at home. In the gym, paintings, sculptures, and all forms artwork from the entire year were beautifully displayed for families and the community to enjoy. 🖌️🎭 Adding to the evening's magic, the CMS Band delivered a fantastic performance, filling the space with music and energy! 🎶👏 Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our young artists and musicians — it was a truly amazing turnout! CMS BETA Club students are making a difference through leadership, service, and character! From packing and delivering non-perishable cake kits to the Evans County Christian Food Bank, to spreading Easter cheer with treat bags and a special visit from the Easter Bunny for CES Pre-K students, our students are learning the true meaning of service. 📐✨ Math in Action! ✨📐 In Mrs. Cook's math class, our amazing 4th grade students explored different ways to describe and compare angles, using angle card sorts to identify right, acute, and obtuse angles. They worked together to order angles from least to greatest, building their reasoning skills along the way! Students supported one another, shared strategies, and explained their thinking in their small groups.
