In Mr. Turner’s Horticulture class, we know that the best learning happens outside the four walls of a classroom. Recently, our students were busy spreading seed to get the campus ready for spring—but they picked up a very important lesson in physics along the way!

The takeaway: When you’re operating a spreader, you have to keep your eyes on the ground. One hidden hole or a bit of uneven turf is all it takes to flip your equipment and send your seed flying! Don't worry! The seeds were salvaged after the mishap.
