Parents and Guardians, we are excited to invite our 4th and 5th grade students to a fun and festive Valentine’s Day Dance!

📅 Date: February 6, 2026
⏰ Time: 5:30–7:00 PM
📍 Location: Claxton Elementary School Gym

💲 Cost Information:
• $10 entry fee per student (pay the night of the dance—please do not send money to the office)
• Photos: $5 per pose (optional, paid at the photo booth 📸)
• Concessions: All items $1

• Students must be picked up promptly at 7:00 PM
• Students should dress appropriately for this special occasion and follow the school dress code

We’re excited to announce the upcoming launch of My Ride K-12, a powerful student transportation app by Tyler Technologies that helps families stay connected and informed about their child’s school bus — in real time!

📅 Launch Timeline
Early January: Claxton Elementary School
Late January: Claxton Middle & High Schools

With My Ride K-12, parents and guardians can:
✔️ Track buses in real time — see exact locations and estimated arrival times
✔️ Receive instant notifications about delays, route changes, or important transportation updates
✔️ Access a parent portal to view pick-up/drop-off events and manage student profiles
✔️ Share access with another parent or guardian quickly and securely

How to Get Started
1. Download the app: Search “My Ride K-12” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
OR Register Online using the detailed instructions in the link below.

2. Find your district within the app. You can search for “Evans County” or ”ECSS”.
3. Register or log in with a unique user email and password.
4. Add your student using the unique student ID. Be on the lookout for a text from the transportation department with your child’s ID.
5. Access anytime via the app or at myridek12.tylerapp.com.

Evans County Pre-K loaded up the buses and rolled into Rock Hill Farm in Cobbtown, Georgia for a day sprinkled with wonder and giggles. Our little adventurers made fast friends with rabbits, goats, a gentle horse, curious pigs, waddling ducks, and gobbling turkeys. The hayride brought hills and thrills, while the bounce house and balloon whirlwind kept feet flying and laughter popping. 📯🎈

We cuddled up for storytime with Santa himself, complete with the coziest hugs, and just when we thought the day couldn’t get any sweeter… snow danced down from the sky. Smiles sparkled everywhere, memories were made, and our hearts rode home full of farm-fresh joy. ❄️🎅🐐

Fall Semester Rewind! ⏪🖤💛

While we are all enjoying our winter break, we couldn't help but look back at all the incredible moments that made our fall semester so special. From classroom breakthroughs and club successes to school spirit in the stands, it’s been a busy and rewarding few months at CHS!
