Firefighting students used a training prop with sheetrock walls and a top to demonstrate ventilation limited fires versus fuel limited fires. This simulation of a house fire also showed students how small amounts of water to cool the gas layer can slow fire growth. This simulation also shows the importance of staying low by showing the heat line on the wall. They also discussed how during mop-up, it's important to look for hidden fires and impacts of damage of evidence if too many things are moved during mop-up. #TheDen #RealLife
