CHS is proud of our Evans County Wildlife Club Writing Competition Winners for the 11th-12th grade band of this annual writing contest! Congratulations to William White, a 12th grader at CHS, and Elijah Cartee, an 11th grader at CHS! William took 1st and Elijah took 2nd! Both students were recognized at the Rattlesnake and Wildlife Festival this weekend! Also, thanks so much to our ECCSS 6-12 science teachers and other staff for hosting this competition! Let's hear it for our First District RESA (FDRESA), Young Georgia Authors (YGA) grade-level winner and top finishers! Our ECCSS students competed against 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟔 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐀 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬, and we are excited about their performance! In our YGA results, we had students from 𝐂𝐄𝐒, 𝐂𝐌𝐒, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐇𝐒 who earned special FDRESA recognition, and we are proud of each and every writer! The CMS STEM Fair was a great success! The students created their stations and demonstrated their understanding of the content and its application to the world.
