Mrs. Cowart, Ms. Miyon and Ms. Taylor's class had a busy day! They found out the True Story of the Three Little Pigs and heard about Scaredy Squirrel. The books were read by Mrs. Cowart’s aunts! The students received goodies too! Thank you Dr. Joy Collins and Lynn Collins! We appreciated it!



CHS Soccer players visited CES to participate in Read Across America




The newly crowned Miss CHS, Mollie Lane, attended the Chic-fil-a food truck ribbon cutting ceremony today. She also participated in the inaugural "first bite".




Students in Ms. Minis's 7th grade Science Lab distracted DNA from strawberries in order to see that all living things and their cells contain DNA!





Mrs. LaSala's "STEMists" exploring the difference between naturally occurring electricity (static) and human-harnessed electricity.

Claxton Middle School Cheer Tryouts will be held on April 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM at the Claxton Middle School Gym. Students MUST wear black shorts (no Nike pros) and plain white shirts (no images or writing) on Friday the 15th. Hair must be pulled back as well.

Students in Mrs. Francis's Spanish I class are working together to describe their teachers in the pictures posted around the room. English speakers write their descriptions in Spanish, and Spanish speakers write their descriptions in English. This way, all students are practicing the language that is second to them.





1st graders participated in Dr. Seuss rotations where they read Yertle the Turtle, made turtles out of paper plates, and did turtle stacking in Ms. Oliver’s and Mrs. Keyfauver’s class.
