The CHS Annual Title I Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 28th at 5:30PM in the CMS/CHS Cafeteria.

6th graders are learning how to properly format a formal paper while visiting the media center today. In all of their classes, they will now be expected to type a paper in 12 font, Times New Roman or Arial, and double-spaced. They also know how to insert bullet points, a table, a header and a footer with page numbers.


Representatives from Herff Jones will be on campus on Tuesday, September 28th during lunch for letterman jacket orders. Please see the flyer for more information.

The CHS JV football game against Tattnall County that was scheduled for Thursday, September 23 has been cancelled.

The Claxton High School Athletic Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations through October 1.
The ceremony will be Saturday, October 30 at 10:00 AM in the new Claxton High School. Applications are located at the BOE, Claxton High School or online at www.evanscountyschools.org.

2nd grade students in Mrs. Nobles' Gifted Resource class, were introduced to Stop Motion video today. They worked on creating their own movie shorts. Stop motion is an animation technique in which one frame is captured at a time. In between each shot, the objects in the frame are moved slightly.
We may have future animators in our midst!



4th Grade students in Mrs. Nobles Gifted Resource room celebrate Dot Day on September 15. Students designed a dot and then explored augmented reality.




2nd graders practicing “sneaky e” words during WIN time with a guessing game. They enjoyed watching a picture being drawn & figuring out the “sneaky e” word before it was shown.
