The JV Football game vs. Portal that was scheduled for Thursday, September 12 has been cancelled.

ECCSS was alerted to an alleged threat made on social media. The Claxton Police Department has investigated, and the threat doesn’t appear credible. While it appears this threat is one of a series of hoaxes currently circulating on social media, all threats made against our schools are taken very seriously and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
ECCSS will have extra officers on site this week; additional safety protocols will be implemented as needed.
Thank you to our students and staff for reporting concerns. Also, we appreciate concerned parents and families who are supervising their kids' social media and notifying law enforcement and school administrators when anything is questionable, and we ask that you continue these practices. Parents and families, please share the seriousness of social media posts with your kids. The safety of our students and staff is our number one priority.
