Claxton Middle School celebrated Read Across America Week...let's look back at the amazing activities we enjoyed: 1. Students recommended their top reads. 📚 Many discovered new favorites! 2. Students were invited to dress for a different theme each day. 3. Discovered SORA: We dove into our digital reading platform. It's been like having a library at our fingertips! 📲 4. Students learned how to find books in the media center using Destiny Discover on their Chromebooks. 🔍 5.Students learned to email Mrs. Durrence, our media specialist, with book requests. 💌 She's excited to help everyone find their next great read. 6. Tic Tac Toe Library Book Search: We participated in a book search activity, and names were drawn for prizes throughout the day. 🏆 Congrats to all our winners! It's been a fantastic week of literary exploration and discovery.
