7th grade math students shared their knowledge of proportions around CMS this week. They walked around the school to different locations, and when Mrs. Sapp asked how to calculate the constant, students would chant with hand motions, “Y divided by X is the constant!” So, if you have a child or know a child who is a 7th grader, be sure to ask them to how to find the constant!

The Evans County School Nutrition program is participating in the Local Food to Schools Pilot Program this school year. This program provides funds for participating school nutrition programs to purchase food directly from Georgia Farmers. #FuelingGA

Firefighter students learned about ignition temperature and flamepoint. They practiced the difference between complete combustion and incomplete combustion. Students also used fire bubbles to learn about gasses lighter or heavier than air. #RealLife #TheDen #Collaboration
