Reminder: Our Christmas break is approaching! Friday, December 15, is a half-day for students and full-day for staff. Please see below for the adjusted bus dismissal times for December 15: CMS/CHS- 11:40 CES-12:10 The Academy- 12:30 Also, please remember that Monday, December 18 - Tuesday, January 2, are holidays for students. Monday, December 18 -Monday, January 1, are holidays for staff. We look forward to starting 2024 with our staff on Tuesday, January 2, and with our students on Wednesday, January 3.

Sixth grade students in Mrs. Sefers' math classes are studying unit rates. By using sales ads, students are able to compare prices of items and figure out which is the better deal. This is a math skill which will come in handy one day! #RoarANDSoar

Students in Ms. Vaughn and Mrs. Sowells' classes had a blast exploring the lights, sirens, and loud sounds from SRO Cason's patrol unit and Custodian/Firefighter Donnie Bates' personal truck! CMS BETA students Hope Elan and Zachery Valentine competed in the art competition at the Georgia State BETA Convention. Hope submitted a sculpture of her name, and Zachery submitted a pointillism painting of a jellyfish. Both works of art showed creativity and hard work and represented our school well. CMS BETA student Emily Stephens chose to compete in the Speech competition at the Georgia State BETA Convention. She had to deliver a two minute speech on the topic "Navigating My Future With BETA."
