Georgia Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (GATESOL) is offering a virtual public event on 8/10/23 , at 5:30 pm, as part of a learning series focusing on Students, Parents, and Community Engagement. In this session, GATESOL will focus on Engaging Linguistically Diverse Families. Parents and family members will learn more about how to be involved in the school, how to communicate with the school to help students grow academically and socially, and more about interpreters in education.

We're counting down the days until students are back on campus to continue their learning.
If your CHS student plans to park on campus for the 2023-2024 school year, they are required to register their vehicle and pay $10 for a parking permit. The vehicle registration form is attached, in case anyone wants to go ahead and get this completed. We will be accepting registration forms for Seniors starting on Friday, July 28 during Senior Pictures, as well as on Monday, July 31st at the Senior Breakfast. We will also be accepting forms from Seniors and all other students at Open House/Meet the Teacher on Saturday, July 29 and then during regular school hours. All payments must be cash or check. We do not take electronic payments for parking fees. If you have any questions about parking for CHS students, please email Layne Peacock at laynepeacock@evanscountyschools.org.
