Our 7 Mindsets focus this week is "Make a Difference." The quickest and easiest way to feel better and become happier is to help someone. You can start today by making a difference in every little way you can. Hold the door open for someone, pick up a piece of trash you see in the hallway, give your friend a compliment… the possibilities are endless!

Coach Lanier's World History/World Lit class spent the last few weeks covering Totalitarianism & the Rise of Dictators between WWI & WWII. The students wrote an argumentative essay over which dictator(Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Hirihito) they believe to be the most ruthless. As students put together the final pieces of their paper, they provided peer evaluation, giving constructive feedback. This communication and collaboration led to awesome final versions of their essays.

Best wishes to these two Culinary Arts students who are competing at the state level today! Olivia Mejia began preparing a pork tenderloin-centered meal at 9 AM, and Dale Kennison will participate in the chicken fabrication event at 1 PM. The results will be announced tomorrow, so stay tuned!
