CMS 8th graders had the privilege of visiting the Mighty 8th Airforce Museum in Pooler, GA today. They learned a lot about the history of the Mighty 8th and its involvement in WW2. They were able to meet Major John Luckadoo, who was visiting the museum today. Major "Lucky" was a fighter pilot in the Mighty 8th, and he celebrated his 101st birthday last Thursday. He shared some personal stories about being a fighter pilot. The students were very lucky to meet Lucky since he only visits the museum twice a year!
