Items for practice:
Tennis shoes
Cleats (if you have them)
Glove
No tank tops
Prefer softball pants, but not required for tryouts
Results will be posted by 4PM on May 20th (This will be a possible make up day should there be rain on other tryout days)
NOTE: This will be the only tryouts held for current Evans County Charter Schools students. There may be tryouts held in August should there be any students who transfer into ECCS and are interested in playing softball.

CHS and CMS Special Olympics athletes and volunteers paraded through the hallways Friday afternoon to cheers and encouragement.

Ms. McElveen's class has been learning about animal cells. They made a model using jello and candy based on diagrams they had previously labeled. They got to eat their models and leftover candy once they were done.

Mrs. Shaul’s and Miss Ziegler’s 3rd graders dressed up to celebrate Miss Ziegler’s upcoming wedding. They have been counting down the days!

Mrs. Whitfield's class used active floor learning with Mrs. Keyfauver to practice place-value and telling time for the upcoming MAP test!





Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Herrington, Ms. Trotter, and Ms. Nicky’s Classes
combined to celebrate letter "E" Day with Exercise and Experiments. They
combined baking soda, blue food coloring and vinegar to experience an
explosion and had fun exercising together.





Students in Mr. Sapp's STEM class were given an engineering challenge to try and build the strongest geodesic dome with only jelly beans and toothpicks.

The Arts & Cultural Authority of Claxton and Evans County will host a Town Hall Meeting, Thursday, May 5th, 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm, at the Claxton Veterans Community Center to share plans for the restoration and renovation of the former Claxton High School 2-story building located at 707 W Main Street.

You can help us by making sure your child:
● Gets plenty of rest each night before testing.
● Arrives at school every day on time! Testing will begin PROMPTLY at 8:00. The tardy bell rings at 7:40.
