Students in Mrs. Amy Robinson’s biology classes have been simulating cellular transport processes in cells. Students soaked the shell off of an egg and soaked the egg in various liquids to see the processes of osmosis and diffusion as they would occur on the cellular level. Students kept accurate data as the lab progressed and collaborated with their group to predict what would occur as they introduced a new liquid to the project.

Can you see the geometric shapes? Students in Mrs. Robin Smith's art classes recently studied this type of art and created their very own animals and nature scenes using shapes as the basis of their creations.

Students in Ms. Flournoy's class collaborated to design a plan for a turkey trap. This idea was sparked when the class read How to Catch a Turkey. These kindergarten students use the 4Cs, collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking when planning their design. The students presented their plans to the class, and each shared what part they contributed to the drawing. Students were actively engaged in this lesson! #CES #ExcellenceLeadershipFamily
