Congratulations to Junior Hunter Taylor! Hunter has been invited to attend the 2022 Career Academy this summer. This honor involves working one week with DNR at the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center and on Jekyll Island.
Hunter is the son of Stormie and Kevin Taylor. Hunter has begun college coursework at Ogeechee Technical College in the area of Wildlife Management. He plans to become a game warden.

Mrs. Stephens's science class conducted a Forces Lab using Beyblades. They had to explain how friction and mass relate to the force needed to spin
the objects. They also connected this work back to Newton’s 1st Law of
Motion.
Congratulations to CHS senior Sergio Gomez on being named a winner of the Georgia FFA Foundation and Claxton Poultry scholarship. Sergio will be recognized on stage at the 94th Georgia FFA State Convention on Friday, April 29th.
