The Augusta University College of Education will offer a week-long virtual kids' computer science camp to teach basic coding and coding with Microsoft MakeCode. The camp will run June 28 through July 2. Registration will run May 1 through June 1.

ECSS is proud to announce that our Senior Cody Burkhalter has been accepted into the Y.E.S. Training Program at the Georgia Ports Authority. This training allows students to enter into the workforce at GPA after high school and provides on-the-job-training necessary for the student's career success.

Fifth graders celebrated their MAP growth in reading and math. Their teachers agreed to let students pie them in the face and cover them with silly string if a certain number met their growth goal.

Happy School Lunch Hero Day



The Claxton Tiger Baseball team will advance to the Elite Eight on Monday, May 10, 2021 to take on ACE (Academy of Classical Education) in Macon. Game times for the double-header are set for 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. respectively. Claxton High School will release early on Monday at 1:45 p.m. The district is providing 2 buses for fans who wish to attend the game.
Fans who wish to take advantage of the district's transportation, must go to Claxton High School on Friday (5/7) 8:00 - 2:00 or Monday (5/10) 8:00 - 12:00 and purchase a ticket for the game ($10..price set by GHSA). Students under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All riders must complete a liability waiver form. The buses will leave promptly at 2:30 p.m. from the Claxton High School parking lot.
The Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday night has been cancelled.

Tigers Advance to Elite 8
Our Claxton Tiger baseball team won both games on the road Tuesday over Seminole County to advance to the Elite Eight. The scores were game 1 10-3 and game 2 8-1.

Baseball game at Seminole County will be broadcasted today on WCLA radio 97.3 at 3:45.
