The world of technology offers a rapidly increasing number of outlets for creativity and communications. Ms. Fallin and Mrs. Fennel's class learning about magnets!
Students in Mrs. Nobles’ 1st Grade Gifted Resource class have been studying tornadoes. Today they created and they observed tornadoes in a jar.




Second graders in Mrs. Phillips’ class have learned to identify the moral of a story. They especially enjoyed reading, The Gingerbread Boy, determining the moral and coming up with verbs that describe his actions.

CES will observe the same dress up days as CHS for Spirt Week.

CES Portrait Day RESCHEDULED
New Date: October 11

First Graders are working on addition and subtraction using the counting-on-and-back strategy. Students using counting-on-and-back strategies are able to use their knowledge of both the forward and backward number word sequences to solve addition and subtraction questions.


Covid Weekly Update 8/30/21-9/3/21

All students K-12 are invited to participate in the Hispanic Heritage Art and Writing Competition. All entries are due by September 17th.

Mrs. Kennedy’s class had fun reading "Arnie the Doughnut" by Laurie Keller. They enjoyed eating doughnuts while also learning about all of Arnie's character traits.
