📚🎉 Claxton Elementary Kicked Off Literacy Month with Free Books! 🎉📚 Claxton Elementary School kicked off Literacy Month by giving a book to every Pre-K through 5th grade student! These books were generously provided through a grant from the Marine Toys for Tots Literacy Foundation. The students were thrilled to pick a book to call their own! 📖💛 According to Reading is Fundamental, "Reading aloud daily is one of the most important things you can do to help your child grow into a reader. It develops concepts about print, builds vocabulary, and allows children to experience the joy of reading." We hope these new books spark exciting reading adventures at home! 🏡✨ #LiteracyMonth #ReadySetGrow

Information packets with consent forms were sent home with all students in their back to school packets given out at the beginning of the school year. Additional copies of the form can be obtained in the school's front office, or you can sign your child up online at www.MySchoolDentist.com.
