📚✨ 6th Graders Dive into Real-World Skills at JA BizTown! ✨📚
Our CMS 6th graders recently visited Georgia Southern University, Savannah Campus, to take part in the JA BizTown® Experience – an exciting hands-on learning opportunity that brings classroom concepts to life! 🏙️📝
Through JA BizTown, students in Ms. Moore's career classes learned what it’s like to run a business, manage money, and even vote for a mayor! They gained a firsthand look at what it means to be citizens, workers, and consumers in a community, building essential skills for the future. 💼💵
Here’s what our students are taking away from this experience:
A deeper understanding of the free enterprise system and the roles they play in it.
Money management skills, including banking and economic concepts.
Insight into community responsibilities, rights, and soft skills for success in the workplace.
We’re so proud of these future leaders and can’t wait to see how they apply these lessons in their journey ahead! 🌟 #CMSFutureLeaders #JABizTown #RealWorldLearning #CareerEducation
