📸✨ It's Picture Time!!! 🌟🍎
Fall pictures are coming soon! inVision pix will be capturing our kiddos' smiles on Tuesday, September 24th. Here are a few tips to help them look their best:
Wear solid colors if possible; they tend to look great in photos!
Choose long or short-sleeved tops; sleeveless tops aren’t recommended.
Make sure clothes are as photo-ready as possible, so our Tigers look sharp!
Style hair neatly, but keep the front from being too long!
No need to coach poses—the photographer will handle it.
Get your child excited about their school portrait!
Encourage them to let their braces shine and remind them that a gap-tooth is beautiful!
If your child wears glasses, ask for photos with and without them to reduce glare.
Mark your calendars and get ready for picture day! 🚌✨

The Evans County Health Department will be at Claxton Middle School on Thursday, October 3, 2024, to perform state mandated scoliosis screenings on all 6th and 8th grade students. Information forms will be sent home this week. If you want your child to be screened, you do not need to do anything further, but if you do NOT want your child screened or your child is already under the care of a physician for scoliosis, then you must complete, sign, and return the opt-out form to the school nurse's office no later than Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
The screening is non-invasive and simply requires the student to stand with their feet together and lean forward while the nurse looks at the appearance of the spine. Parents will be contacted by the Evans County Health Department if their student has a positive result. Please contact the school nurse or the Evans County Health Department if you have any questions. The form that was sent home can be located at the following link: https://5il.co/2wf16
