Liz Groover, the Human Resources Director for Chick-fil-A in Statesboro, visited Mrs. Lane's Introduction to Business classes and spoke about the hiring process. Students received tips for applying for a job and the interview process. The Chick-fil-A cow visited CHS students during lunch. Recently our Work-Based Learning (WBL) Coordinator, Mrs. Johns, caught up with WBL senior Levi Eason on a local job site. Levi is employed with Southern Maintenance and Metal Works where he uses many of the skills he learned in his technical classes. Levi has earned his diploma in Electrical Sciences from OTC, and he plans to remain in the construction/fabrication industry after graduation. He also plans to further his knowledge and skill in the area of welding and use it in his career. We love to see our students making a life out of doing what they love!
