Mrs. Sapp shared a heartwarming moment this week that truly captures the spirit of the ROAR way!

She was struggling to walk down the hall with a large stack of papers when they began to fall to the ground. Without hesitation, Chris-Anthony Familia stepped in — picking up the papers, taking the rest from her hands, and delivering them to her classroom.

Our Pre-K friends in Mrs. Cowart & Ms. Alysia’s class spent the week learning all about America! After reading F is for Flag by Wendy Cheyette Lewison, they went on a fun flag hunt around the school—patriotic pride was everywhere! 🎉

They invited friends from Ms. Thigpen & Ms. Melissa’s class to join the celebration, which included 🍎🥧, 🍦, and bubbles on the playground! 🫧

Throughout the week, students explored the stars, stripes, & colors, created their own red, white & blue flags, and learned about American symbols like the 🦅, 🗽, and 🔔.

A perfect mix of learning, friendship, and fun! 💛🐯

Read-A-Thon
Today during advisement, we reminded students that a goal or vision is a lot like meeting someone at the airport. At first, you see them far away—recognizable but distant. With each step, though, the gap closes until you’re finally face-to-face.

That’s how success works. Whether it’s graduation, a career pathway, or personal growth, what feels far off today will come closer as long as we keep moving toward it.

Advisement is one of those important steps on the journey—helping students plan, prepare, and stay on track for the future they can already see in the distance.

Parents, join your children for this important event and let's help them move towards their future goals! Meetings are scheduled by Tiger Pride teacher and will begin at 9:15 AM.
