📚 Tigers Get Creative: Students Bring Personal Stories to Life Through Text Features! 🐯
Students in Mrs. Cason's Tiger Time have been learning about Text Features and working on an "All About Me" project ✏️ that showcases multiple types of text features that help their reader quickly and easily find facts about them through features such as timelines, glossaries, table of contents, etc. 📖 These students have worked diligently to ensure their projects told a complete story of who they were as well as sparking their creative side for their displays! ⭐ These students did a great job demonstrating their work in a unique and personable way! 🌟

🌟 Exciting News from CES 🌟 Ms. Driggers attended the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) 2025, where she discovered innovative strategies to enhance learning through technology. She introduced an engaging new edtech strategy for descriptive writing! ✍️💻 Here’s how it worked: 🔹 Students were given a writing prompt along with a picture to inspire a quick write. 🔹 After completing their writing, they anonymously voted on the piece they found most descriptive. 🔹 The top 3 writings were shared, sparking a lively discussion about the descriptive language and techniques used. The students were all smiles as they practiced their writing skills in a fun, interactive way. 🎉 This activity not only fostered creativity but also encouraged peer collaboration and critical thinking. Way to go, Ms. Driggers, for bringing back this incredible strategy! 💡👏

Attention CMS students and families! Our Book Blast event starts next week where we will set off in search of treasure to build our students' home libraries. Follow the steps on the Treasure Map coming home next week to embark on a jungle quest to earn exciting prizes and books. 🗺️🌟
