Our Art and Ag students at CHS have been busy! Check out two amazing creations below!
The painting is a springtime interpretation of the pecan orchard that neighbors our CHS campus. This painting is a collaborative effort by 15 students in Ms. Smith's class.
The cornhole boards in progress are another collaborative effort. Students in Mr. Hall's Ag classes are creating cornhole boards and giant Jenga sets for the public.
CHS will donate the orchard painting and a cornhole board to the Rotary Auction which opens August 16-18. We can't wait to see where these CHS originals make their home!

Mr. Sapp’s class worked on an introduction to STEM activity by exploring their creativity and building things that related to science, technology, engineering and math. Students shared what they built with their class and communicated what field of STEM their product best related to. This activity allowed CMS students to participate in a Project Based Learning activity by practicing their 4Cs: Communication, Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Collaboration.

Ms. Peacock and our CHS Journalism students collaborated this morning about different possibilities for structuring the 2022-2023 yearbook. Students discussed the advantages and disadvantages of a variety of ways to organize.
What will the final outcome be? That, of course, is top secret!
