CMS staff participated in professional learning this summer. This learning was focused on strengthening our learning teams and instructional strategies for engagement and school culture! CMS also celebrated a staff and family meet and greet that was held to welcome everyone back for the new school year!

Students at The Academy are setting academic and behavior goals. Teachers at The Academy are learning more about how to implement guided reading groups and planning peer observations to see guided reading in action. Mr. Stroud also shared a School Improvement Plan (SIP) update.

Teachers participated in and hosted sessions to help our staff learn more about how to increase engagement and use of 21st-century skills.

Tickets for the CHS Varsity Football away game at Montgomery County have to be purchased through GOFANS. Tickets will not be sold at the gate.

Ms. Thigpen and Ms. Melissa’s class enjoyed their first day of Pre-K!
CMS 8th grade ELA students worked in small groups to analyze a text and share what they learned with their peers.
Students are learning how to work as a team, so they will be able to collaborate for project-based learning and problem-solving.
CES had a great first day! Thanks to all of our students, families, and staff for getting the 22-23 school year off to a strong start!
