Mrs. Cowart, Ms. Miyon, and Ms. Taylor's class did a fun experiment with gummy bears. They submerged them in different liquids to see what would happen to a gummy bear. They learned hot water melts the bear and regular water mades it grow bigger.





Tina Durrence, counselor at CHS, spoke with Mrs. Lee Ann Lane's Financial Literacy class about FAFSA and planning for college. This is part of the College Options unit the class is currently working on.

College Readiness Math students completed a unit on credit where they studied the importance of credit, how it is affected by their behavior and he importance of maintaining a good credit score.
Students revised their knowledge of related vocabulary through a game of Heads Up. The challenge was to explain or define the term to their teammate without using the word until they were able to correctly determine the word. The team who completed the most terms in eight minutes won the challenge!
Students were also challenged to complete a credit escape room in the quickest time. To complete the challenge, students were required to use their knowledge of credit, credit cards and risks of debt.

Landon Hodges won a free UGA National Champions t-shirt after qualifying to be entered in the drawing by ringing the corn hole board on his first shot! His name was randomly selected from numerous students and teachers who joined the competition!

An African Safari: Miss Martinez's class went on a VR field trip to the grasslands in South Africa to explore how giraffes are getting energy.





Pre K students celebrated 100 days by bringing in 100 items and sharing with their classmates.

CMS STEM classes are having a blast today playing archery tag with student employees from the Georgia Southern University Shooting Sports Education Center! Thanks to Mr. Sapp for making this happen!
