Please help ECCSS recognize and celebrate the following educators who participated in the GaDOE STEM/STEAM Forum! This professional learning included workshops, panel discussions, and keynote sessions and allowed educators to collaborate with STEM/STEAM colleagues from across the state.
During this training, our ECCSS staff also learned more about Project Based Learning (PBL), integrating technology, cross-content teaching, and ways to build community and business partnerships!
We appreciate our educators investing in this opportunity, and we are excited about what your learning will bring to our ECCSS students, staff, and community!

ECCSS and Evans County kicked off Red Ribbon Week (RRW)this morning with a special ceremony at the Senior Citizens Park in Claxton. Designated students from each school participated in the ceremony: CES sent students who won their RRW coloring contest, and CMS and CHS sent students who were nominated based on character traits.

Mayor Terry Branch shared a Red Ribbon Week proclamation. Dr. Marty Waters, Dr. Bobby Costlow, Dr. Paul Mizell, Lieutenant Waters, and Mayor Branch turned the fountain red in honor of Red Ribbon Week. CHS Ambassadors, Aaron Harrison, Valeria Hernandez, Aashi Patel, and Tyrone Atkinson served as student speakers and shared about the history of Red Ribbon Week, the effects of drug use on families and the human body, and closed with a call to action for everyone to choose life drug-free.
