Mrs. Stephens’s 8th grade science classes spent time this week conducting investigations about Energy Transformations at rotating stations.




Third graders had fun reviewing for their upcoming test. For each correct answer, they got to play 60 seconds of ring toss!

Congratulations to the newest members of the Claxton Middle School Chapter of Junior Beta Club, 8th grader Tiya Patel and 6th grader Bryson Stanfield. We are very proud of your hard work and your accomplishment!




2nd grade students, in Mrs Phillips’ WIN class, are studying the characteristics of fables by performing reader’s theater of fables, creating fable puzzles while matching the morals to the evidence and writing their own fables. It has been a fun week of learning!





Congratulations to our CHS Boys Basketball Team on their 1st round upset of ECI in 3A region tournament play.
Their next game is Thursday at 8:30PM against Metter at the Durell Lynn Memorial Arena.
CHS Girls take on the winner of the Bryan County/ECI game at home on Friday at 7:00pm


Remember that Friday, February18th is an instructional school day for students (make-up from school closure in January). We will see our students tomorrow and Friday.
