The Agriculture pathway expanded its family today!
For the past few weeks, two different types of quail eggs have been incubated by students. After 18 days of incubation, the first Pharaoh quail made their appearance, and the students eagerly await the arrival of the Snowflake quail, which will take approximately six more days. Comparisons will be made regarding growth rates between the two species. Which bird, eating the same food ration, do you predict will reach target weight faster?
The Den extends a huge thank you to Bobby Colson of B & G Honey Farms for donating the Pharaoh eggs.
