She was struggling to walk down the hall with a large stack of papers when they began to fall to the ground. Without hesitation, Chris-Anthony Familia stepped in — picking up the papers, taking the rest from her hands, and delivering them to her classroom.

Our Pre-K friends in Mrs. Cowart & Ms. Alysia’s class spent the week learning all about America! After reading F is for Flag by Wendy Cheyette Lewison, they went on a fun flag hunt around the school—patriotic pride was everywhere! 🎉
They invited friends from Ms. Thigpen & Ms. Melissa’s class to join the celebration, which included 🍎🥧, 🍦, and bubbles on the playground! 🫧
Throughout the week, students explored the stars, stripes, & colors, created their own red, white & blue flags, and learned about American symbols like the 🦅, 🗽, and 🔔.
A perfect mix of learning, friendship, and fun! 💛🐯

📚✨ Coach Lanier’s Government classes have been diving deep into the Executive Branch and the roles of the President!
As part of their unit on foreign policy, students became leaders of fictional countries 🌍—representing economic aid, military aid, humanitarian aid, and technology. Each country first reflected on its own strengths 💪 and weaknesses 🤔, then worked with others to find ways to cooperate.
The ultimate challenge? 🤝 To create a treaty that benefits all four nations—ensuring balance, fairness, and collaboration without one country dominating the rest.
To prepare, students explored real-world examples like the Marshall Plan, 9/11 & NATO, and the Lend-Lease Act, connecting history to today’s global relationships. 🌐
