Afterward, they headed to the media center where they recorded their very first music video! 🎬✨

Our Tigers joined students across the state for Georgia Reads Day, tuning in to watch Malcolm Mitchell, The Georgia Council on Literacy, and GPB. 🏈✨ They enjoyed storytime, reading activities in classrooms, and media center fun with Ms. Hunter. 💛🐯
We’re also celebrating BIG success in our Read-A-Thon—our students have logged over 53,000 minutes of reading since last Monday! 🤩 Keep it up, Tigers!

Mrs. Sapp shared a heartwarming moment this week that truly captures the spirit of the ROAR way!
She was struggling to walk down the hall with a large stack of papers when they began to fall to the ground. Without hesitation, Chris-Anthony Familia stepped in — picking up the papers, taking the rest from her hands, and delivering them to her classroom.
Chris-Anthony demonstrated:

Our Pre-K friends in Mrs. Cowart & Ms. Alysia’s class spent the week learning all about America! After reading F is for Flag by Wendy Cheyette Lewison, they went on a fun flag hunt around the school—patriotic pride was everywhere! 🎉
They invited friends from Ms. Thigpen & Ms. Melissa’s class to join the celebration, which included 🍎🥧, 🍦, and bubbles on the playground! 🫧
Throughout the week, students explored the stars, stripes, & colors, created their own red, white & blue flags, and learned about American symbols like the 🦅, 🗽, and 🔔.
A perfect mix of learning, friendship, and fun! 💛🐯
