🎨✨ Enjoy another peek of works in progress for the ECCSS Fine Arts Extravaganza! ✨🎨 We're just days away from our 3rd Annual ECCSS Fine Arts Extravaganza on April 29, 2025, at 5:00 PM in the CMS/CHS Cafetorium. 🗓️🙌 Our talented Tiger artists are putting their finishing touches on their masterpieces in progress, and we are thrilled to share a sneak peek with our Tiger Nation: Dogs at Beach by Madison Wright, 10th grade Cow in North Georgia and Brown Thrasher by Savana Lair, 12th grade Burnt Wood by Braxton Anderson, 12th grade Cat in Window by Natalie Wiater, 11th grade 🎶 The ECCSS Fine Arts Extravaganza will also feature incredible performances by the CMS and CHS bands and chorus, filling the air with music and Tiger spirit. 🎤🎻🎺 As a special treat this year, ECCSS will honor the memory of Mr. Steve Simmons, a beloved, former Tiger band director, with a rededication of the CHS band room. 📚🏈 A Special Visit from Malcolm Mitchell! 🏈📚 On Thursday, April 17th, CMS students had the incredible opportunity to meet Malcolm Mitchell — former UGA and New England Patriot football star and now a professional author! 🙌 This inspiring visit came after our students participated in the Malcolm Mitchell Read Bowl, a reading challenge that celebrates literacy and a love for books. Malcolm shared powerful personal stories about his childhood struggle with reading and how perseverance and a passion for learning helped shape his journey from the football field to the world of literature. 📝✨ Our students walked away inspired and reminded that reading truly opens doors to endless possibilities! 💡📖 #ReadWithMalcolm #LiteracyMatters #CMSProud #InspirationInAction

🎨✨Reading and Creativity on Full Display at the CMS Annual Literacy and Art Show! ✨🎨 On April 15th, CMS proudly hosted its Annual Literacy and Art Show, showcasing the incredible talent and hard work of our students and providing free books to our families! As families entered, they were allowed to pick new books to be read at home. In the gym, paintings, sculptures, and all forms artwork from the entire year were beautifully displayed for families and the community to enjoy. 🖌️🎭 Adding to the evening's magic, the CMS Band delivered a fantastic performance, filling the space with music and energy! 🎶👏 Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our young artists and musicians — it was a truly amazing turnout!
