Isn’t it wonderful that there is a healthcare clinic located on the campus of Claxton Elementary School? East Georgia Healthcare Center is based at CES and is a wonderful place for senior Coral Tello to gain real-world experience in her future career! After graduation, Coral plans to attend college with the goal of entering a nursing program. Her position at East Georgia Healthcare Center has been the perfect fit for her future plans. Coral has been an integral member of their team, and the experience has reinforced her passion for the healthcare field. CHS is proudly cheering you on, Coral! #TheDEN #BlackAndGoldBuildingSuccess #TigersOnTheMove

As part of 7 Mindsets, CMS students are encouraged to be a part of their community and to be helpful to others. Autumn Castle, CMS 6th grader, has stepped up to do just that! She is asking for her classmates, as well as our community to donate to a great cause: our local foster families. If you would like to donate diapers and other needed items to this great cause, please bring items to the office at CMS/CHS, or send with your child to school. See attached flyer for a list of needed items.

There's still lots of March fun planned at the Claxton-Evans County Public Library!
You can get a sneak peek of the awesome literacy events planned for Tigers of all ages in the images below.
