Meet Isaiah Benjamin! Benjamin is a student at Claxton High School in the Work Based Learning program. He is working for the school district as a videographer to highlight the great things going on at all the schools. Mr. Jake Hallman, The DEN's Audio-Video and Film Technology instructor, is his supervisor and mentor helping Isaiah acquire and utilize advanced audio-video skills through hands-on experience. All children under the age of FIVE that live in our community can receive a bookstore quality book and literacy resources every month! Imagine your young child receiving a book in the mail every month until the age of five. What better way to say reading is important? Children enrolled in the Ferst Program receive a new book every month in the mail until their 5th birthday. There is absolutely no cost (ever) to registered children in participating areas!
