Tiger football fans, our CHS Tiger football team will travel to Bryan County on Friday, August 2nd to participate in the Bryan County Football Jamboree. Bryan County is hosting CHS, Beach High School, and Butler High School. Bryan County will play Butler in the first game of the night, followed by Claxton v Butler, Bryan v Beach, and lastly, Claxton v Beach. The first game starts at 7:00PM. Tickets must be purchased online at https://gofan.co/event/1543091?schoolId=GA23126. Concession stands will accept cash and cards for purchases. Visitor parking will be off Camellia Dr/Hwy 119 directly in front of the tennis courts.

ECCSS is holding its 6th annual CHS Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday, October 5th, at 9:00 AM, at the CMS/CHS cafetorium. Each year, ECCSS accepts nominations for the CHS Athletic Hall of Fame. This gives us a chance to recognize and celebrate the outstanding athletes, coaches, teams, and contributors who have helped build the Tiger Nation over the years. We are excited to welcome the 2024 CHS Athletic Hall of Fame class! Congratulations to Conner Mitchell who completed a six-week summer internship with ACE Electric! He was recognized today at a graduation luncheon hosted by the company. Mitchell stated that this experience confirmed his interest in pursuing a career in the electrical field. He will continue working for ACE Electric via the school's Work-Based Learning Program this school year. CHS and The DEN are proud of this Tiger! #TheDEN

The CES Beta Club competed at the National Convention in Savannah this summer! Three of our very own CES Tigers earned entry into Nationals: Rhett Barnicoat, Wyatt Castle, and Madison Williams! Madison even performed in the opening number as a premier performer! While our young Tigers didn't get a top spot nationally this time, we are SO PROUD of them for competing and excited they had the chance to perform on this NATIONAL stage! Claxton High School received three national awards: Performing Arts - Variety Act received 6th place (team consisted of Aaron Harrison, Alyssa Jones, and Damonae Wharton), Joselin Baltazar-Venegas received 3rd place in Visual Arts - Hand Drawn Anime, and Gabriel Trejo-Samano received 4th place in Academics - Spanish.
