🌱🎭 Mrs. Phillips' 2nd Graders Bring Plant Life Cycles to Life! 🌼
Mrs. Phillips' 2nd grade class dazzled us with their creativity and knowledge! The students created and performed skits that beautifully depicted the life cycle of a plant. From a tiny seedling to a flourishing adult plant, they demonstrated each stage and how to nurture a plant throughout its growth. It was a wonderful display of learning and fun—great job to all our young performers and their dedicated teacher!

Our students will enjoy fresh, locally grown lettuce this week from Lanes Bridge Lettuce in Odum, GA. Sonya Jones has owned and operated the business for 10 years. Did you know it takes 45-65 days to grow a head of lettuce, depending on the weather?
The Evans County School Nutrition program participates in the Local Food to Schools Pilot Program this school year. This program provides funds for participating school nutrition programs to purchase food directly from Georgia Farmers. #FuelingGA
